Open it, read the instructions, and work through it with your team.

Do one play at a time — each one builds on the previous. Document your discussions and decisions in Notion or wherever your team works best.

You can run the plays in whichever setting fits your team best:

• Online in Notion – collaborate in real time with your team.
• Using PDFs – download the tools and use them in Miro, FigJam, or any whiteboard platform.
• In person – print the templates or sketch them on a whiteboard.

The key is focus. Choose a quiet environment where your team can think deeply — not a typical meeting or a noisy office hour.

1. Who to involve

Most plays are best done with your leadership team — usually five to six people, including the founder.

The founder should always lead the process, but invite whoever owns key parts of the business. Some plays can be done solo (like Financial Clarity), but most work best when the team builds the answers together.

When your team helps create the plan, they’ll believe in it — and you won’t have to “sell” it later.

1. How to structure the rhythm

For most companies, the best rhythm is a two-hour session each week focused on one module at a time.

This gives you time to reflect, gather input, and apply what you learn between sessions.

If you prefer an intensive approach, you can complete the core modules in a week-long sprint — but spreading them over a quarter usually leads to better outcomes.

Full deployment typically takes one to two quarters. Practicing the Operational Clarity rhythm makes it a lasting habit.
